What the Game is
Gridiron Blitz '89 is a browser-based fantasy-football draft-order randomizer presented as a retro football game. It runs at https://www.gridironblitz89.com.
Free use
You can use the core Game for free. Free play stores your tournaments in your own web browser on the device you are using. We do not receive or keep those saves. If you clear your browser data, switch devices, or use a different browser, browser-stored tournaments will not follow you.
Accounts
You may create an account with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. Let us know at support@gridironblitz89.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
Commissioner's Edition
Commissioner's Edition is a one-time purchase of $4.99 (USD) that unlocks online features for 12 months from the date of purchase, including saving your tournaments to the cloud so they are available across your devices.
- It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It does not auto-renew. You will not be charged again unless you choose to buy again.
- When the 12 months end, online features stop. Details of what remains available are in our Privacy Policy and below.
- To keep online features after expiry, you can purchase again. A new purchase adds 12 months; buying again before you expire extends from your current expiry date rather than shortening it.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details. Your use of the payment flow is also subject to Stripe's terms.
What happens when Commissioner's Edition expires
Your account continues to exist and you can still sign in. Your free, browser-stored play is unaffected. Access to online-only features (such as cloud saves) stops until you purchase again. We retain your account and cloud-save information while your account remains active, or until you submit a verified deletion request — see the Privacy Policy.
Refunds
Our refund approach is described in our Refund Policy. To request a refund, contact support@gridironblitz89.com.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer for abuse, or gain unauthorized access to the Game or other users' data, and do not use the Game to break the law. We may suspend access that threatens the Game or other users.
Availability
We aim to keep the Game running but cannot promise it will always be available or error-free. Features may change over time.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Game is provided "as is", and our total liability for any claim relating to the Game is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make significant changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, note it in the Game.
